SAVED (POETRY)

yes, i know who i am
yes, sir, yes ma’am
i’m saved & unfazed

saved ‘cause i’m unfazed
‘cause my vertical relationship
is determined by my horizontal relationship –
yes, i honour my Jesus ‘cause i’m selfless
& ‘cause i’m selfless i can walk in His righteousness
& not dictated by the flesh
& the devil’s trash

His righteousness outweigh my circumstances
His words still carry weight
therefore the devil can wait!
the devil can go to... well
he can go to hell!

i’m unfazed ‘cause i’m unfazed
